Key Responsibilities- Delivering personalised support services to customers with disabilities
- Assisting clients in their daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility, and skill development
- Promoting community integration and supporting clients in accessing social and recreational activities
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans
- Encouraging independence and empowering clients to achieve their personal goals
- Advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities
- Certificate III in Community Service or Equivalent ideal or willing to obtain
- 6 months experience required—ideal for candidates ready to learn on the job, with buddy shifts provided for support
- Require high level of fitness for manual handling
- Have as much availability as possible, both sleepovers and active nights (must be able to work nights) and must be able to work day shifts during the weekend
- Possess or willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC)
- Hold a current and valid CPR and First Aid certificate
- Have a full driver's licence
- Have valid work rights
- Successfully complete the NDIS Quality, Safety & You module
- Willing to undergo a National Police Check
- Passionate about human rights and creating positive change
- Empathetic and compassionate, with a keen understanding of diverse experiences
- Excellent communication skills to be the voice that resonates with others
- Enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and inspire
