Job Title: Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in business services. As a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist, you will work with one of Australia's leading family offices in a high-profile position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the month end process of all entities, including: month end journals posting, accounts classifications, credit card and expenses reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations as well as investigate and resolve any anomalies.
  • Prepare monthly management pack, including sales, variance analysis and commentary.
  • Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annually taxes, including GST, FBT, Income Tax and Transfer Pricing.
  • Support and manage the budgeting and 24-month rolling forecasting process.
  • Prepare Cashflow reporting.
  • Drive the team in preparation of an accurate audit including consolidation of financial statements.
  • Lead the Finance team through company transformation.
  • Support continuous business processes and systems improvement.
  • Implement internal controls policies and procedures and ensure adherence to accounting standards and best practice guidelines.
  • Manage a small finance team and establish a proactive and diligent culture.
About You:
  • Experience working in a family office or big 4 firm is desired.
  • A Financial/Tax Accountant background would be beneficial.
  • CA/CPA qualification is mandatory (or near completion).
