Job Title: Specialist Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Anesthesiologist to provide Specialist Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine services at Lismore Base Hospital and other facilities within the Northern NSW Local Health District.

Salary: Remuneration package based on experience, up to $323,777 per annum full-time equivalent

Job Description: Provide comprehensive Specialist Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine services to achieve optimal patient outcomes and deliver quality care to our community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Anaesthetist or specialist international medical graduate pathways.
  • Recent clinical experience in Anaesthesia and ability to provide comprehensive anaesthesia services.
  • Effective clinical communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to teaching, continuing education, research, and quality improvement.
  • Availability for on-call rosters and willingness to respond on site within a reasonable time.
