Senior Mobile Application Engineering Manager

As a seasoned mobile application engineering professional, your expertise will drive innovation in mobile user experiences through leadership in cross-platform development.

You will lead teams in the design and implementation of top-tier enterprise applications for clients across various industries.

Your technical excellence, leadership skills, and client-facing abilities—particularly with Xamarin or Maui—will contribute to delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with stakeholders to establish project requirements and timelines.
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
  • Ensure high standards in coding, testing, and documentation across all squads.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
  • Identify and implement application performance and quality improvements.
  • Integrate with back-end services via REST APIs.
  • Perform or supervise testing, debugging, and updates.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Technical Skills:

  • Residency in or near Brisbane; able to work onsite at least 3 days/week
  • Minimum 5 years in Xamarin or Maui development (Forms or Native)
  • Experience in cross-platform mobile app lifecycle management
  • Proven tech leadership in squad and client environments

Preferred Experience:

  • Australian Baseline Security Clearance or eligibility
  • Experience with government clients, cloud messaging APIs, CI/CD, Git, agile, UI/UX principles, and .NET framework
