Job Opportunity

As a highly organized and skilled professional, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our sales team. This role involves coordinating client orders, managing data entry, and communicating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Processing: You will be responsible for accurately entering client order information into our system, including purchase order numbers, products, quantities, and delivery details.
  • Client Account Management: You will create or update existing client accounts on our system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stock Availability Checks: You will verify the availability of requested items and inform clients of expected arrival dates for back-ordered items.
  • Sales Quotes: You will create quotations that include product costs, discounts, and delivery charges, as well as provide customers with accurate information regarding their orders.
  • Internal Liaison: You will communicate with various teams, including sales, warehouse, logistics, and accounts, to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also support the sales team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and assist in maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:
  • Excellent Computer Skills: You must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effective Communication: You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Highly Organized: You must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: You must be able to identify and resolve problems efficiently, using your initiative and sound judgment.
  • Data Entry Accuracy: You must have high accuracy in data entry, with the ability to maintain precise records and reports.
  • Attention to Detail: You must be meticulous in your work, with a strong focus on quality and adherence to procedures.
  • Time Management: You must be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines, meeting targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Adaptability: You must be able to learn new software and systems quickly, adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
Career Advancement and Compensation:

After completing a probationary period, you will be offered permanent employment with a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $55,000 per annum, plus superannuation and leave entitlements.
