Lead Engine Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Engine Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge game engine systems.

  • Develop and optimize physics or animation pipeline and engine systems.
  • Communicate with engineering, design, art, and productions teams to implement new features.
  • Participate in the code review process and contribute to the design of industry-leading AAA engines.
Requirements:

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Strong math skills and knowledge of CPU and memory architectures.
  • Familiarity with modern CPU performance analysis tools and strong background in C/C++.
  • Solid debugging skills, including the ability to debug at an assembly level when necessary.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other programmers, artists, and designers.
Preferred Skills:

We prefer candidates with experience working with physics simulation and/or other game-related technologies. Additionally, we seek individuals who can architect and support simulation and query behaviors to maintain our position at the forefront of FPS physics-related gameplay and visuals.
