About Our Kitchen Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at the Sunrise Beach Aged Care Facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking and serving food in adherence with dietary requirements, while maintaining a strong focus on food safety standards.

In addition to their culinary skills, we are looking for someone who can support senior hospitality staff members with menu design and implementation, promote quality standards and maintain service according to standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare meals that cater to various dietary needs, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Menu Support: Collaborate with senior staff to design and implement menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our residents.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high standards of food preparation, storage, and delivery to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • A clear understanding of Australian food and beverage standards.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
