Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist with Aged Care Resumes, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from children to older adults, and make a real difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' daily function in their home environments, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals, working collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve clients' daily function, including activities of daily living, mobility, and cognitive skills.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in Occupational Therapy, applying this knowledge to improve client outcomes and service delivery.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities, contributing to the growth and development of our team.
- Demonstrate knowledge and practical ability in navigating different funding models, including NDIS, My Aged Care, Workcover, Medicare, DVA, and Private Insurance.
- Deliver and engage in business and service development opportunities to improve the Physiotherapy service, contributing to the growth and success of our organisation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrate experience and willingness to work across the lifespan, with a strong focus on client-centred care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively, with a strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable car for travel between client locations.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centred care, with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families.
