Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team at Busways Group. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the administration of properties and supporting the property team.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration of properties, including coordinating repairs, maintenance, and capital works for commercial and rental sites
  • Assist with administration of approvals for projects, including Development Applications, Construction Certificates, and Occupation Certificates
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and various Local and State Government bodies
  • Assist with searches for properties for prospective purchase to meet a specific brief
  • Assist with keeping concise records and providing regular project and property market-related updates
  • Manage existing tenants and assist with property-related financial reporting, including land tax and insurance values

Requirements

  • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • A current, unrestricted Australian driver's license issued by the relevant State
  • General property administration experience and high-level proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of the property market and practical aspects of building and construction
  • Familiarity with the development application process, Local and State planning policies, and EPA&A and SEPPs
  • Touch typing skills and the ability to read and understand engineering and architectural drawings
  • Ability to learn new software packages and maintain confidentiality when dealing with complex matters
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Leadership capability, experience, and demonstrated capacity to coach others
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
