Job Description

The role of an Eportfolio Educational Designer/Technologist plays a vital part in the implementation and deployment of ePortfolio platforms. This position requires close collaboration with academic and professional staff to ensure seamless integration, accreditation, workplace-based assessment, programmatic assessment, and tracking student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SUPPORT THE IMPLEMENTATION AND DEPLOYMENT OF EPORTFOLIO PLATFORMS
  • COLLABORATE WITH ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF TO SUPPORT ACCREDITATION, WORKPLACE-BASED ASSESSMENT, PROGRAMMATIC ASSESSMENT, AND TRACKING STUDENT PROGRESS
  • DESIGN AND DEVELOP APPROPRIATE FORMS, TEMPLATES, AND REPORTS USING AN EPORTFOLIO PLATFORM
  • PILOT NEW EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES, IMPLEMENT WORKFLOWS, MONITOR ADOPTION, AND EVALUATE EFFECTIVENESS
  • MANAGE MULTIPLE CONCURRENT PROJECTS WITH INDEPENDENCE AND MINIMAL SUPERVISION
  • DELIVER AND EVALUATE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS FOR STAFF (IN-PERSON AND ONLINE)

Requirements:

  • RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE IN TECHNOLOGY-ENABLED LEARNING, TEACHING, AND/OR CURRICULUM FOR HIGHER EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT KNOWLEDGE FROM OTHER COMBINATIONS OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
  • EXPERIENCE USING EPORTFOLIO PLATFORMS (PREFERABLY RISR) FOR ACCREDITATION, WORKPLACE-BASED ASSESSMENT, PROGRAMMATIC ASSESSMENT, AND STUDENT PROGRESS MAPPING AND TRACKING
  • STRONG TECHNICAL SKILLS WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE (WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL, TEAMS) AND POWER PLATFORM (POWER BI, AUTOMATE, APPS)
