About the RoleWe are seeking an Allied Health Assistant to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will provide direct support to our consultants, working alongside practitioners and workers who have sustained an injury or illness in the workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development, implementation, monitoring, and review of rehab needs for individuals
- Support return to work planning for occ-rehab claims, certificates of capacity, and approvals for services
- Assist with developing detailed written reports that support workers' goals and outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date information, data, and documents for all workers
- Collaborate and liaise with medical practitioners and allied health professionals
- Current 4th-year students (Occupational Therapy)
- Minimum 3-day availability per week
- Full Australian working rights
- Current driver's license and car
- Ability to obtain a Police and Working with Children Check
