The OpportunityYou'll play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce strategies that drive the success of a central agency dedicated to growing Queensland's economy.
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you'll lead a team across key HR functions, including business partnering, employee and industrial relations, recruitment, and health, safety, and wellbeing.
In This Role, You Will- Provide leadership and operational management to teams delivering a diverse range of HR services.
- Offer expert advice to clients, stakeholders, and peers on complex people management issues.
- Contribute to the strategic direction, partnerships, and service delivery models for the People and Culture branch.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance workforce initiatives.
- Lead the development and implementation of Treasury's Strategic Workforce Plan.
- Champion a performance culture, using a coaching approach to develop team capabilities and enhance client-focused services.
- Proven ability to lead teams delivering diverse HR services, with strong prioritisation, collaboration, and resource-sharing skills to meet agency and client needs.
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in human resource management, including strategic initiatives and complex advisory services, ideally within the Queensland public service.
- Strong engagement skills with executive leaders and stakeholders to drive organisation-wide initiatives, negotiate strategic outcomes, and resolve sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
