Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electricity distribution utility, particularly in customer processes related to new connections and modifications. This role requires an individual who can effectively engage with senior stakeholders and navigate diverse interests to drive successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document customer processes, focusing on new connections and modifications within the electricity distribution utility sector.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about the regulatory framework surrounding Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) in Australia, ensuring compliance and alignment with industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate discussions, and manage expectations across various interests and priorities.
  • User Story Development: Develop clear and concise user stories to guide project development and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Project Management Tools: Utilize tools such as JIRA for tracking project progress, managing tasks, and maintaining effective communication among team members.
  • Comprehensive Process Analysis: Conduct comprehensive process analysis and mapping to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize workflows.
  • Requirements Gathering: Lead requirements gathering sessions to capture business needs and translate them into actionable insights for the technical team.
  • Current State Mapping: Create current state maps to understand existing processes and identify gaps that need to be addressed.
  • Solution Definition: Leverage domain knowledge to provide valuable support to the Solution Architect in defining and designing solutions that address business concerns.
  • Workshops and Interviews: Facilitate workshops and conduct interviews to engage stakeholders and gather input for project initiatives.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the electricity distribution utility sector, with a focus on customer processes such as new connections and modifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) regulations in Australia.
  • Proven experience working with senior stakeholders, demonstrating strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate varied interests.
