About the Position:

The Rail Delivery Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery team for the A2PE Inland Rail project. Key responsibilities include assessing and coordinating design requirements, ensuring safe and compliant delivery of project works, prioritizing project schedules, and monitoring consultant and contractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to inform design requirements.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration among stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet project timelines and ensure planning requirements are met.
  • Monitor consultant and contractor performance to guarantee quality outcomes.
  • Coordinate across the delivery team to establish a consistent approach to planning and documentation.
  • Support the development and administration of property and access agreements.
  • Oversee progress of consultants and contractors involved in the project.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive documentation and reports as required.

About You:

To succeed, you should be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and a solutions-focused approach.

Experience in brownfield rail or utility projects is highly regarded, as well as knowledge of contract management practices and third-party agreements.

A well-organized work approach, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills are also essential for this position.
