Apprentice Plumber Job Overview

As an Apprentice Plumber, you will have the opportunity to develop a rewarding career in the plumbing industry. You will work alongside experienced professionals to maintain vital water and wastewater systems.

About the Role:

This four-year apprenticeship combines hands-on training with formal learning to equip you for a successful plumbing career. You will study at CQUniversity to complete your trade certificate and gain valuable experience in a friendly and safety-focused team based on the waterfront at the Port of Mackay.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must be an upcoming school leaver completing Grade 12 in 2025 with minimum sound results in English and Mathematics. You must also be able to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) within three months and demonstrate a willingness to provide high-quality labouring services in a maintenance and construction environment.
