We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Futurist to join our team.

Focused on examining trends and emerging signals of change, this role will help us understand their impact on our business and industries.

The successful candidate will bring new thinking and approaches to manage our Futures Research and Strategic Foresight efforts, conceiving and developing futures-focused service offerings that deliver value to clients.

This strategic thinker will support the futures research community of practice across our organization, coordinating horizon scanning activities and managing our horizon scanning database. They will develop communications materials and insights on trends and key research areas, contributing to client projects and internal initiatives using strategic foresight processes and insights.

Key skills and experience include:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on strategic thinking
  • Proven expertise in strategic foresight/Futures studies with experience ideally in a lead capacity
  • Understanding of technology's role in society and broader drivers of socio-economic and technical change
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders with varying technical literacy
  • Analytical skills and data interpretation ability
  • Consulting, analyst, and data visualization experience desirable
