About Us :

Little Bodies Therapy is a leading provider of multi-disciplinary therapy services for children and their families.

We offer a range of holistic therapy services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, delivered in various settings such as clinics, homes, and schools.

About You :

  • A Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent tertiary qualification is essential
  • Experience in Paediatric Physiotherapy is desirable
  • Registration with the Physiotherapy Registration Board (AHPRA) is required

Other essential criteria:

  • Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance
  • A Current Working with Children Check
  • A Current CPR certificate
  • A National Police Clearance certificate (no older than 6-months)
  • A Current Drivers License and a reliable, insured car

**Job Summary** :

This role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to children and their families in a collaborative and effective manner.

You will work closely with the team around the child, including other therapists, medical professionals, and educators, to develop and implement tailored intervention plans.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be passionate about working with children, and have a strong commitment to professional development.

**Key Responsibilities** :

  • To work with children and their families to help achieve their individual goals
  • To participate in ongoing professional development
  • To demonstrate effective and appropriate skills in communicating information and professional advice to clients, their families, educators, and carers
  • To undertake thorough, sensitive, and detailed clinical assessment
  • To formulate and deliver individual physiotherapy intervention using clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practice
  • To use a range of verbal and non-verbal communication methods to progress rehabilitation and treatment programs
  • To liaise with external stakeholders, including NDIS, other disability service providers, and health professionals
