Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to play a key part in our global Health and Safety (H&S) strategy.

This role will involve supporting the development and implementation of key deliverables of our health and safety framework and strategy across various risk profiles, including warehousing, logistics, construction, manufacturing, asset management, and retail.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Suitable experience in a work health and safety role
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of health and safety legislation
  • Experience in working in project roles or change programs
  • Experience working in an organisation with multiple sites and stakeholder groups
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and timeframes
  • Proven experience in writing reports, analysing data, and communicating findings
  • Ability to communicate and influence a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Relevant qualifications or training in Health and Safety or related discipline

About the Role

As a Health and Safety Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting, monitoring, and promoting a proactive approach to the maintenance and implementation of the global Framework and Strategy through the application of the H&S Management system within Australia.
  • Delivering the Health and Safety Framework and Strategy
  • Leading the development and implementation of the recommended Health and Safety Framework and Strategy for retail franchisees
  • Completing action plans, providing detailed reporting, and data analysis, along with communicating findings to the business
  • Providing leadership through interactions across the business
  • Driving improvements in safety outcomes by educating best practice and legislation
