Job Description

The Business Intelligence and Analytics team is responsible for acquiring, integrating, and delivering insightful information to the business. This role involves all source system analysis, data modelling, data integration, BI report development, and deployment.

This is a full-time permanent role that reports into our Reporting, Analytics & Business Intelligence Manager. We offer flexible work options and a collaborative culture where people genuinely care.

As part of this role, you will work in a collaborative partnership with the business and other members of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team to achieve the business information needs that aid and improve quality decision making.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Source System Analysis with a view to extracting data
  • Well-versed in Data Modelling techniques (Data Vault, Star Schema)
  • Highly proficient in Data Integration Activities, predominantly using Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to design and build data solutions with all data transformations as close to the source as possible

About You

You are an inquisitive thinker who can deliver creative and efficient solutions. You have excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement and can work both collaboratively and be self-directed when required.

You will also have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business or technology with a focus on Data and Analytics
  • 5+ years of experience using Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence platforms, software applications, and processes
  • Commitment to continuous learning of new software applications, processes, and techniques
  • Driven to deliver quality solutions
