Culinary Assistant

We are seeking energetic and self-motivated individuals to join our vibrant Food & Beverage team at Dreamworld as Culinary Assistants.

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen areas while following safety protocols and processes when using and storing chemicals. You will work across various outlets at Dreamworld, ensuring that kitchen appliances and workspaces are ready for action, upholding our high standards for food preparation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning duties using commercial dishwashers and other equipment.
• Ensure adequate supply of clean crockery for food & beverage outlets at all times.
• Conduct surface and deep cleans as scheduled, including floors, kitchen appliances, walls, shelving, benches, and cold storage areas.
• Empty rubbish bins and remove cardboard waste.
• Monitor stock rotation and replenish stock levels as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen experience with skills in kitchen organization.
• Self-motivated and reliable individual with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and late nights.
• Understanding of HACCP standards and their practical application.

Our estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $45,000-$55,000 AUD, depending on location and experience.
