Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shipping Operations Coordinator to join our team in Fremantle, WA.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating vessel operations, ensuring smooth port calls, and building strong relationships with stakeholders. This includes planning arrivals, berthing, loading, and departures in collaboration with all Port Stakeholders.

This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with various stakeholders, including ship owners, charterers, and customs authorities.

The successful candidate will have a valid Australian work permit and driver's license, eligibility for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC), and strong attention to detail and administrative proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate vessel operations, from planning arrivals to berthing, loading, and departures in collaboration with all Port Stakeholders.
  • Work independently and as part of a cohesive team, ensuring smooth port calls and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Continuously learn about business opportunities, port activities, and regulatory updates to stay informed and effective in your duties.

Requirements:

  • Valid Australian work permit and driver's license
  • Eligibility for a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative proficiency
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
