About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Liability Underwriter to join our team at Insurance Australia Group Limited. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing liability risks for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement underwriting strategies to manage liability risks
- Collaborate with account management and business development teams to deliver customized coverage solutions
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients on liability insurance and risk management
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and evaluations to determine coverage terms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and brokers
Requirements
- Proven experience in general liability underwriting, insurance risk management, or related roles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Insurance qualification (e.g. ANZIIF Cert IV) or in the process of obtaining
