About the Role

We are seeking an experienced People Partner to join our People & Culture team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in planning and delivering exceptional people experiences across Squiz.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with people leaders to develop and implement effective people policies and practices that support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Manage complex ER cases end-to-end, ensuring a fair and timely resolution.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of legislation and regulations that relate to people and participate in developing appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Offer coaching, counselling, and learning solutions to leaders and employees to promote professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Enable a culture of high performance by educating and coaching leaders on performance management and performance discussions.
  • Collaborate with the People & Culture Team to develop culture strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing employee engagement.
  • Act as a trusted business partner, advising on People matters across the entire people life cycle.
  • Manage cyclical P&C processes for assigned business units, including the annual performance appraisal process.
Requirements
  • Previous experience people partnering with Technology stakeholders is highly regarded.
  • Experience executing cyclical P&C processes, organisational design, and managing complex ER cases.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of HR best practice, including applicable state and national employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills using pragmatism and a commercial mindset.
  • Ability to listen and understand the needs of employees, while balancing the commercial interests of the Company.
  • Ability to adapt communication style based on the audience.
  • A commitment to delivering great outcomes for our people is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines.
