Job Overview

Care Managers lead residential aged care teams in providing high-quality clinical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure residents receive quality care at all times, adhering to Aged Care quality Standards and policy.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to teams for quality resident outcomes.
  • Work safely, following policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Support the Residential Manager as a senior team member.
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for delivering quality care to the elderly.
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • In-depth understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards.
  • Understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of age-related health issues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety.
  • Previous experience working in residential aged care in a similar role.
  • Strong coaching/training skills and ability to influence others.
  • Customer-centric approach to business.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft suite.
  • Willingness to obtain a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
