As a skilled meat inspector, you will be part of a leading independent meat inspection service in Australia.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Being a team player
  • Acting in accordance with the AAO Deed of Obligation
  • Performing all official duties as an AAO in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Following safe working procedures and practices
  • Conducting Post Mortem inspections and reporting

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate 3 in Meat Processing (Meat Safety) or Certificate 4 in Meat Processing (Meat Safety)
  • Competency in knife sharpening and maintaining a sharp knife
  • Experience working in a meat processing environment
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with reporting protocols
  • Professional and ethical behavior when performing AAO functions

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Required location:

  • Goulburn NSW: Reliable commute or relocation before starting work is preferred

Work authorization:

  • Australia (preferred)
