Job Title

We are seeking a proactive Shutdown Maintenance Coordinator to lead maintenance scheduling and support equipment reliability across multiple mining sites.

The ideal candidate will have experience with shutdown maintenance preparation, planning, and implementation, as well as coordination of breakdown responses and labour capacity management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and implement shutdown maintenance plans, ensuring alignment with labour capacity, tooling, and part availability.
  • Coordinate breakdown responses and adjust plans to minimize downtime.
  • Lead weekly and daily maintenance planning meetings with site stakeholders.
  • Monitor completion of plans using Emeco Operating System (EOS) reports.
  • Close out work orders in CMMS and ensure data accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Mining Equipment or equivalent; planning/management degree is an advantage.
  • Experience working with CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu equipment in a mining environment.
  • Strong planning and scheduling background using CMMS tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Sound knowledge of mining operations and equipment reliability drivers.
