About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Assistant who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a strong ability to communicate with customers at all levels. The successful candidate will have a real customer service focus, be highly motivated and proactive, and have high integrity. They will also have the ability to work under pressure, be flexible with working days and hours, and be able to work unsupervised.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers
  • Assist customers with product queries and provide recommendations
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with new products and promotions
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs
  • Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the store
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working in a high-volume, disciplined retailer
  • Strong merchandising skills and ability to work with a variety of products
  • Ability to lift heavy items (e.g., bags of dog food)
  • Commitment to the care and well-being of pets
