Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure is a leading contractor with over 25 years of experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects in Australia and New Zealand.

We specialize in designing and delivering projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy, and Remediation industry sectors.

Our portfolio includes dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works, and pipeline rehabilitation.

About the Project

Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure is one of two Construction Partners working with Water NSW to deliver their Asset, Renewals, and Replacement Program (ARRP).

Under the ARRP, Abergeldie will deliver multi-disciplinary packages varying in size and complexity, spread across a large geographical footprint across regional New South Wales and Greater Sydney.

The scope is vast and includes, but is not limited to, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical minor capital works and rehabilitation.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Electrical Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this program.

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing supervision and coordination of site personnel and subcontractors, and driving successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Manage plant, labour, and subcontractors, and oversee all construction activities.
  • Conduct daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox talks.
  • Develop and implement Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), ensuring the safety of our people.
  • Perform inspections to identify and manage potential risks.
  • Prepare project reports, including budget and program updates.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant trade qualifications.
  • Proven leadership experience with a strong commitment to safety.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and automation systems, with the ability to manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with these systems.
  • Ability to set realistic productivity expectations and hold subcontractors accountable for achieving them.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing quality expectations with the confidence to evaluate work and ensure it meets Abergeldie standards.
  • Ability to travel to regional NSW and work in remote areas as required.
  • Be a natural problem solver and someone who enjoys working on complex projects.
