We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Icon Cancer Centre in Canberra. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiation therapy planning and treatment services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective radiation therapy planning and treatment services to patients.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.
- Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
- Exhibit a strong patient focus and treat all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality.
- Current AHPRA Registered Radiation Therapist with ACT Radiation Use Licence or ability to obtain.
- Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills that inspire the trust and confidence required to build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and a commitment to, the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services.

We utilize a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator for treatment, ARIA patient information management system, and Eclipse Planning. Our Radiation Oncology department cares for a broad mix of patients and presentations and proudly offers the latest radiotherapy techniques and equipment to local patients.
