Deliver exceptional care in a dynamic emergency department setting, shaping the future of healthcare for over 100,000 patients annually. As a senior staff specialist, you will work across adult and paediatric zones, contributing to aeromedical retrieval coordination for North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care across a mixed adult and paediatric ED
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to peer review and audit
  • Engage in outreach through the Frailty Intervention Team
  • Maintain CPD and work within your awarded Scope of Clinical Practice

Role Requirements:

  • Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or equivalent
  • Possession of a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a registered tertiary institution
  • Current registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA to practise emergency medicine
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in both paediatric and adult Emergency Medicine
