We operate one of the largest gold mines in Australia, featuring a 4.7 million tonne per annum processing plant, providing a solid platform for long-term production growth. This dynamic operation combines open-pit and underground mining, with exciting exploration activities driving the future.
Our team supports the Survey Department in maintaining survey services across the mining operations, ensuring all work is completed safely and in full compliance with company standards, guidelines, and procedures.
This role involves working effectively in physically and mentally demanding environments, including underground operations when required. You will communicate effectively with other technical teams and contractors, complete tasks safely and on schedule, and assist in improving service delivery and support mining team operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering or Surveying, equivalent to enable attainment of WA Grade 1 or 2 Mine Surveyor's Authorisation. You should have a basic understanding of surveying principals, knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to Surveying, and the capability and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
You will also require a WA Driver's Licence - C Class and Australian Working Rights.
