Warehouse Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and diligent Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process orders by packaging boxes, placing orders in the delivery area, and sorting stock according to established standards.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers to facilitate inventory management.
  • Collect stock orders, print requests, and record items received or distributed through a computer system.
  • Assist in counting physical stock and prepare parcels for mailing.
  • Organize warehouse and work areas for optimal efficiency and orderliness.
  • Communicate with drivers to ensure safe docking procedures.
  • Verify stock accuracy by checking off stock as per transport paperwork and pallet counts.
  • Record and communicate any discrepancies in paperwork to the Warehouse Manager and Forklift Operators.
  • Label incoming stock with date codes and GRN labels.
  • Ensure accurate picking and loading of stock for despatch.
  • Print daily orders for picking and prioritize workload accordingly.
  • Pick, re-pack, stack, and label orders according to customer specifications.
  • Print required labels to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor stock quality and report any issues to the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements:
  • No formal qualifications are necessary, but a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience of 1-2 years is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
  • Dependability and reliability are critical attributes for this role.
  • Proficiency in equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills may be required.
