Job Description

This is a key leadership role that oversees the management of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) teams in schools. The position involves leading and managing OSHC teams, overseeing all aspects of service management, including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams.

This is an important and dynamic people management role that includes Before and After School Care and Vacation Care. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience managing people, preferably in the Child Care or Education sector, with leadership skills, the drive to succeed, and the desire to support working families.

The Programs Engagement Manager reports directly to the National Programs Manager and is based in the Central & East Suburbs of Melbourne. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and a solution-focused approach, contributing to their success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage OSHC teams in schools
  • Oversee all aspects of service management including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams
  • Conduct Educator appraisals
  • Build & maintain excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers
  • Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews
  • Monthly reporting
