French Language Teacher Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated French language teacher to join our educational team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French as a second language to students across various year levels. A key aspect of this role is the ability to develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and styles.

With a strong focus on student outcomes, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality education results and contributing to the development of curriculum frameworks.

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be expected to participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs and cultural events, to enhance students' interest in the French language and culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach French classes across various year levels with a focus on delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Develop and implement innovative curriculum frameworks to meet the academic standards of the school.
  • Foster collaboration and commitment to continuous improvement in language teaching.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the broader school community regarding student progress in language learning.
Requirements:
  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is required.
  • Ongoing professional development in the field of French language teaching and education.
  • A valid Working with Children Check.
  • Availability to contribute to extracurricular activities and school events beyond regular teaching hours.
