About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Supply Chain Operations team at Mater Private Hospital Mackay.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a regional team to deliver cohesive, collaborative supply chain operations services to Mater customers, ensuring an outcomes orientation and commitment to achieving performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a regional team to deliver seamless service and support to customers
  • Oversee operational workflow and ensure regular communication on performance expectations
  • Participate in ongoing stakeholder engagement activities to contribute feedback and insight into regional issues
  • Focus on supporting and developing the regional supply chain operations through regular discussions, performance reviews, and coaching
  • Actively build awareness and understanding of Mater Group and Mater Health values
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Demonstrated team leadership experience in a large, complex organisation
  • Experience of leading change and sound change management capability
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain operations, ideally gained in a healthcare organisation
  • Good knowledge and experience of ERP platforms or purchasing and inventory management platforms
  • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate outcomes to deliver client expectations
  • Initiative and proactive communication skills
  • Excellent leadership skills and abilities to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
