Parking Compliance Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Regulation and Compliance team as a Parking Compliance Officer.

This role involves undertaking parking enforcement duties across the Shellharbour City area. This includes patrolling and surveillance of public streets, reserves, and other Council-managed car parks with a focus on promoting safe and legal parking practices.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Patrolling and surveilling public streets, reserves, and other Council-managed car parks
  • Undertaking parking enforcement duties
  • Providing excellent customer service and educating individuals on legal parking practices
  • Handling difficult situations through effective negotiation, conflict resolution, and mediation skills
  • Preparing accurate infringements and concise reports

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a customer-facing or customer-service-related position and knowledge in a regulatory/enforcement environment. You will also be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
