Underground Technical Services Director

Perilya is seeking a seasoned leader to head our underground technical team at Broken Hill mine.
This position requires strategic and technical expertise in mine planning, geology, survey, ventilation, and other technical functions.
- Lead and mentor a group of technical experts including mining engineers, geologists, surveyors, and ventilation officers.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of mine plans, schedules, and designs to meet production and business objectives.
- Provide technical input into long-term planning and operational decision-making.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Promote collaboration among operations, maintenance, and technical teams to optimize performance.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and cost management.
