Clinical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide high-level clinical leadership and expertise in out of home care services. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with children and young people experiencing mental health concerns.

The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical leadership, complex case management, assessment, trauma-informed therapy, and working within mental health or related sectors.

Key responsibilities include providing developmentally appropriate treatment, leading a well-supported team, and contributing to the development of new child and youth mental health services in Tasmania.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated knowledge, skill, and expertise in providing clinical service delivery related to out of home care services.
  • Experience working as a senior health professional in relevant clinical practice settings.
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment, initiative, and work under minimal supervision.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse Current.
  • Working with Children Registration.

Desirable qualifications include a current driver's license, minimum 3 years' experience highly relevant to the role, and holds or is working towards postgraduate qualifications highly relevant to the role.
