Early Childhood Intervention Specialist

This is a rewarding career opportunity to work with diverse families and children with developmental delays/disabilities. We are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist who can deliver tailored support options, empower families, and connect children with their community.


The Role

As a specialist in early childhood intervention, you will provide evidence-informed best practice to support children's development. You will build skills and confidence in families, caregivers, and professionals through coaching and guidance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive support plans using assessments and observations to inform your approach.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to empower families and caregivers to build skills and confidence.
  • Connect children and families with community resources, ensuring inclusion and participation in settings and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals.
  • Guide families through the NDIS application, implementation, and funding processes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree qualification in Speech Pathology or a related field.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and ability to identify developmental issues.
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
