Lead Postnatal Midwife

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Midwife to join our post-natal ward team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a dedicated team of midwives, obstetricians, and neonatologists.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality midwifery care and provide exceptional patient experience to women and their families.
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and excellent patient outcomes.
- Ensure patient and staff safety through effective risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise, direct, and guide midwifery/nursing team members to deliver patient care.
- Deliver education and support to mothers and their families on various aspects of maternal and newborn health.
- Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA.
- Current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a post-natal setting.
- Special Care Nursery experience is highly advantageous.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards and NSW Health Policy PD2020_017 Occupational Screening, Assessment & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work well independently and within a team.
