Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team at PowerData Group Consulting. As an ICT Roles Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality client-facing web applications, database and reporting services using modern network design practices and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Developer: Work as part of an agile team to deliver client-facing web applications, database and reporting services using modern network design practices and technologies.
  • Solution Designer/Enterprise Architect: Provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximise the return on technology investment.
  • Data Engineer: Work as part of an agile team to deliver client-facing database and reporting services using modern database design practices and technologies.
  • Database Engineer (DBA): Design and maintain database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries, and names conventions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files.
  • Systems Tester: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and be responsible for developing test plans, undertaking testing, including regression testing, providing test reports, automating test processes, and building repeatable plans.
  • Business Analyst: Gather, analysis, and document requirements and break down complex problems into coherent features, products, and liaise with the technical, testing, and business teams for implementation and resolution.
  • Cloud Engineer: Work with fellow team members to design cloud services hosted on the hybrid cloud platform and research new ways to improve the design of the hybrid cloud platform.
  • Network Engineer: Design and implement computer network and system services, implement monitoring, configure security systems, provide network programming in support of business needs, and prepare and maintain procedures and documentation related to computer networks.
  • Program/Project Management: Manage a program and/or a team delivering a program of work, including budget management, schedule management, scope management, reporting, and resource management.
  • Commercial Contract and Procurement: Draft, review, and negotiate ICT contracts, ensure contracts comply with government policies and regulations, identify and mitigate potential risks in contract terms and conditions, and provide strategic advice on contract-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship is mandatory for this role.
  • Experience in application development, solution design, data engineering, database administration, systems testing, business analysis, cloud engineering, network engineering, project management, or commercial contracting.
  • Strong understanding of modern network design practices and technologies, including C#, .NET framework, Azure Function Apps, Angular, and Agile development methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
