Membership Engagement Specialist

As a Membership Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and success of our industry association. Your primary responsibility will be to connect with restaurants and bars, drive engagement, and help members get the most from their association.

About the Role
  • You will be the first point of contact for members, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and engaged.
  • You will coordinate onboarding and ensure members understand their benefits.
  • You will maintain accurate membership records and process renewals.
  • You will develop strategies for member recruitment and retention.
  • You will support the planning and delivery of member events and webinars.
  • You will collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and services.
  • You will represent the organisation at industry events and forums.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in membership, customer service, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Hospitality or tourism sector experience (desirable).
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, communications, or marketing (desirable).
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence.
