About this role

We're seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Property and Buildings team, you'll have the opportunity to work on iconic projects across various sectors, including airports, health, education, commercial, retail, and defence.

As a Civil Designer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver civil engineering design projects
  • Supporting national projects across Australia and working closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Executing assigned project and 12D design work while adhering to technical and commercial standards
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders and prioritizing team approach and outcomes
  • Providing ongoing continuous improvement and development inputs to enhance team workflows

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience working on Australian projects within the Building and Property sector is beneficial
  • A Diploma / Advanced Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Practical experience using 12D software
  • Experience with Earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, and utilities
  • Familiarity with BIM and 3D modelling project delivery methods
  • Ability to work remotely on client sites and collaborate directly with clients to deliver optimal engineering solutions
