Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our dynamic team in Australia. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our security infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain security components, including Purview Labelling, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Microsoft Defenders, certificate-based authentication/Cloud Kerberos Trust, and Entra ID configuration.
  • D deliver post-production implementation services to users, providing ongoing support to ensure secure operations.
  • Align with Service Desk processes to effectively manage and resolve Tier 2 and 3 incidents, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Monitor security systems and proactively address potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Document security policies and procedures, and provide training and guidance to colleagues and clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve our security posture.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate security measures seamlessly across the organization.
Requirements
  • Prior consulting experience is essential, demonstrating the ability to provide expert advice and solutions to clients.
  • Possession of either N1 or NV2 security clearance is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address security issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Relevant certifications in M365 security or related fields are preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate).
  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
