About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Copper SA team as a Principal Training Strategy Lead. This role will play a critical part in driving the development and implementation of training initiatives across Copper SA, ensuring alignment with our Strategic Skills Plan and Diversity targets.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of operational training processes and compliance requirements, as well as experience in partnering with stakeholders to design and deliver win-win outcomes. They will also have a proven track record in planning, managing, and embedding large-scale organisational change, with a focus on driving targeted value in alignment with strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and socialise business cases for integrated training opportunities across Copper SA
  • Evaluate and validate decisions to ensure they are value-adding and in line with Asset Training and EIS strategy
  • Provide alignment of the Strategic Skills plan with proposed initiatives
  • Plan, manage and embed large organisational change, mitigate risks and drive targeted value in alignment with strategic direction
About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate the skills and experience to execute the above, as well as proven confidence in navigating and holding a strong understanding of the BHP organisational structure. They will also have a demonstrated commitment to BHP's values and achieving an incident and injury-free workplace.
