A Disability Employment Consultant plays a pivotal role in transforming lives by facilitating employment opportunities for individuals with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.
APM's extensive network of 400 sites nationwide provides a platform for consultants to make a tangible difference. As a Disability Employment Consultant at our Liverpool site, you will be part of a diverse team dedicated to empowering job seekers and promoting independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop employment opportunities tailored to job seekers' skills and aspirations
- Collaborate with job seekers to create customized plans that foster their capacity for employment
- Deliver exceptional customer service to job seekers and employers alike
- Develop strategic partnerships with local employers and community organizations to expand opportunities
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A valid driver's license and comprehensive vehicle insurance
- Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check
- Availability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday
