Job Title: Commercial Distribution Executive

Description:

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the efficient and effective management of order fulfillment, warehouse operations, and distribution across Australia and New Zealand. This position will ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, including warehousing and transportation with third-party logistics providers (3PL), reverse logistics, and local re-labeling/redressing operations as required.
  • Oversee the Order-to-Cash process, encompassing sales order processing, master data maintenance, and credit management to guarantee timely order entry and customer invoicing.
  • Liaise with global logistics and trade compliance teams to monitor inbound deliveries, providing support for customs clearance to ensure on-time delivery, goods receipt, and goods release for distribution.

Performance and Compliance Management:

  • Assess logistics vendors' performance and track reports on operational metrics (KPIs), including regulatory requirements related to local warehousing, distribution, and import activities.
  • Evaluate and enhance business processes associated with goods to ensure efficiency and compliance with local regulations.
  • Support the implementation of serialization processes.

Inventory Monitoring:

  • Collaborate with accounting and logistics service providers to obtain proof of delivery documents for end-of-month accounting purposes.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of inventory transactions between logistics service providers and internal inventory management systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Establish and manage change records to support new product launches.

Partnership Management:

  • Nurture relationships with wholesalers and establish cooperative working arrangements to inform forecasting and planning.
  • Monitor relevant tenders and coordinate submissions to support product utilization.

Root Cause Analysis and Process Improvements:

  • Analyze metrics and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency.
  • Lead and assist in creating and refining Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate with quality teams on product complaints/deviations/CAPAs related to incidents during local warehousing/distribution/importation.

Business Partnership:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to deliver ANZ business goals and priorities.
  • Promote regional supply chain initiatives and provide support to colleagues as needed.
