Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to promote a culture of safety and excellence within the hospital.
- Collaborate with the Risk, Safety and Quality Manager to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with the National Safety and Quality in Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
- Deliver education and training programs to staff on quality improvement and risk management principles, promoting a common understanding of the NSQHS Standards.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities, including internal investigations and audits, to support the organization's ongoing preparedness for unannounced assessments by accrediting agencies.
- Provide administrative support in the management and maintenance of controlled documents across the organization.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Nurse and/or Midwife.
- A thorough understanding of the NSQHS Standards and principles of quality improvement and risk management.
- High-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organization.
