Liaison Librarian

We are seeking a highly skilled Liaison Librarian to join our team at the University of Southern Queensland. As a key member of our Research and Education Liaison team, you will play a critical role in supporting students, academics, and researchers in developing their information and digital literacies.

• Design and develop online and interactive resources to support student learning and teaching
• Provide training and support to academics and students on accessing and utilizing scholarly information resources
• Contribute to the development of student learning, teaching, and research initiatives
• Collaborate with academic staff to develop and deliver programs and services that enhance the student experience
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including academics, students, and researchers

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and eligibility for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association
• Experience in academic libraries, with a strong understanding of emerging trends in library and information services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a range of clients and colleagues
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service
• Ability to manage a high workload and achieve agreed outcomes, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
