Support Worker Job

This role presents an opportunity to provide vital support and care to elderly individuals in your community.

Position: Permanent Part-time, Monday to Friday

Location: Eastern Suburbs of Sydney

Pay Rate: $30.86 - $35.98 per hour + 99c per km and travel time

Duties:

  • Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation tasks.
  • Transport clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social events.
  • Provide personal care support including hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in aged or community care preferred, or strong desire to start a career in aged care.
  • Empathetic and resourceful individual embodying values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
  • Flexibility to accommodate evolving client needs and schedules.
  • Australian driving license and access to comprehensively insured vehicle required.
